I live in an extremely good region for Fly Fishing in Holland. I'm trained in fishing on still water were we catch a lot of different type of fish.
In the summer we catch roach, red-eye and perch, in the winter we catch pike on a streamer.,
Part of the sport is the making of flies, muddlers, nymphs and streamers. I even try to make my own flies from materials I find in the local environment.
Dutch regulations about fishing. Have a look ! The regulations are changed. Dont't use living bait anymore!.
