Hello....My Name is Abe Maaijen and I live in STOLWIJK, Holland.

• I am a Building Contractor and I live with my family in Stolwijk. My hobbies are - amongst other things - Nature, Photografy, Fly Fishing, Mountainering, Honeybees and collecting pictures of historical buildings, sites and landscapes. Some of these interests have been briefly described in.

• I own a small building company, which feeds 4 employees. Most of our work is maintenance and repair but we do build one or two new houses per year in our region. I usually design these houses myself..

• I am happily married and my wife (Wil) and I have four boys, varying in age from 18 to 25 years. We live in the so-called "Green Heart" of Holland, about 4 Kilometers South of the famous cheese city "Gouda" and about 25 Kilometers East of Rotterdam. There is plenty of good fishing around our house with a good variety of different kinds of fish. More important though: it is a very quiet spot in the overcrowded and highly urbanized Western provinces of the Netherlands .
